Hydraulic Repair Oldbury
Mobile hydraulic repair across Oldbury, Langley, Warley and Rowley Regis, including process and industrial plant.
Oldbury is heavily industrial, and a meaningful share of it is process plant rather than the yards and construction sites that make up most of our work. That changes how a visit runs.
Permit-to-work sites
Process and chemical sites have formal permit systems, and rightly so. We work to them rather than around them, and the practical implication is that a job which takes an hour of actual work might take three hours of site time.
Two things make that much easier. First, tell us the permit process when you call so we arrive with the right paperwork and the right contact. Second, it is worth knowing that most hose replacement involves no hot work, no naked flame and no ignition source, which often simplifies what the permit needs to cover.
Industrial estates
Langley, Titford and the estates around Birchley Island carry the more conventional work: engineering, distribution, materials handling and general industrial hydraulics. Fixed plant and power units feature more here than mobile machinery.
Construction and highways
The M5 junction 2 corridor and the road network through Oldbury mean regular highways and construction work, with the usual mix of excavators, rollers and dumpers.
What we do
Mostly hose replacement made up on site, plus cylinder work and diagnosis on fixed plant. On a permit site we will happily plan the visit into a shutdown window rather than trying to squeeze it into a running shift.

Common questions
Do you work on process and chemical plant sites?
On the hydraulic equipment, yes. These sites almost always have strict permit-to-work systems, and we will not attempt to work around them. Get us the permit process and the site contact in advance and it goes smoothly.
What about hot work permits?
Where a site requires one we will work to it. Most hose replacement involves no hot work at all, which is worth saying up front because it often simplifies the permit.
Do you cover Smethwick and Bearwood?
Yes, both are within our normal area, along with Langley, Warley and Rowley Regis.
Can you get to the M5 junction 2 sites quickly?
It is a well-connected part of the patch. You will still get a genuine arrival time on the phone rather than a standard figure.
